"CON EL OJO DE LA FE"

HELLO MY FRIENDS,

What a week. This was probably the most miracle packed week of my entire mission. It was incredible.

We are currently teaching 4 FAMILIES. It’s been amazing.

We knocked into this family of 8 from Venezuela earlier this week and they are incredible. I have never taught anyone that just "holds on" to every single word we say. They recently got here 3 months ago so their lives are just crazy right now. They are incredible. We came back to follow up with them and if they read etc, and they had full on notes taken about what they loved and had written down questions and everything. IT WAS AMAZING.

We are also teaching the cutest family ever. The father is from Italy and the mother is from Uruguay. Her accent is so cute. I want the "shaa" so bad. (if you speak spanish you'll know what I’m talking about). They are so cool!

We are also teaching another family from Colombia. The fathers name is Fabio. His wife passed away from cancer 3 months ago and just loves the gospel so much.

Miracle are just flowing in this area. One of the most incredible miracles that happened was with our new friend Huir. This was one of the most miracle-packed week of my mission. I’ve been really trying to look at this area "con el ojo de la fe" like it says in ether 12:9 and I feel like the success we had this week was exactly correlated with that. We had a great DT about following our first promptings and we set out to do just that. One night we were on our way to visit someone, but we still had 30 minutes to knock that we were going to do after our visit but while we were on our way over there I felt inspired that we needed to turn around and knock an apartment building that we had passed. We turned around and parked and Hermana Jensen and I felt inspired to knock a specific door and sure enough, opens up a woman from Guatemala. She invited us in right away and started to tell us about how all of her children were baptized in this church, but she never was. We shared the video from last Easter with her and she began to cry, telling us about how she just wants to change her life and how happy she was when the missionaries used to visit her family, etc. It was incredible. We are now teaching her and trying to reactivate all of her children.

Oh also, I fell of my bike for the first time... BUT I WAS GOOD. and so was the Mexican food on my handle bars.

My spiritual thought comes from Moroni 7:47-48.

47 But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.

48 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ; that ye may become the sons of God; that when he shall appear we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope; that we may be purified even as he is pure. Amen.

This week we saw a lot of Satan's influence on the families and the way that he had changed people’s minds, etc. The only thing that heals anything is Christ and the only way we can access that power is by having more charity.

I love you all. SO MUCH. And pray for you 24/7.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK.

XOXOX
