'TIS THE SEASON

MY FRIENDS! COMO LE VAN???

WHAT A WEEK. Life just keeps speeding up faster and faster.

This week we went caroling with our district in Del Ray. It was quite a blast. Last year my trainer and I went caroling on Christmas day and it was less than successful haha but this year it was so awesome!! We met really cool people, and everyone loved it. We were inviting everyone to the big nativity festival that our stake puts on every year and it was super effective.

I also went on a full-day exchange with Sister Albretch in Boca Raton. Let me just tell you, Boca Raton is a dream. It is so nice and filled with super cute older houses. IT WAS A BLAST. Sister Albretch goes home soon so we decided that we were going to go out to dinner in down town Boca to commemorate. and oh. my. goodness. IT WAS INCREDIBLE. I’m taking you all.

The Nativity was amazing. There was a legit camel! It was awesome and such a hit with everyone. The spirit of Christmas was alive and well. I’ll send pictures.

My spiritual thought this week comes from Mormon 2:12-13. It says

" And it came to pass that when I, Mormon, saw their lamentation and their mourning and their sorrow before the Lord, my heart did begin to rejoice within me, knowing the mercies and the long-suffering of the Lord, therefore supposing that he would be merciful unto them that they would again become a righteous people.

But behold this my joy was vain, for their sorrowing was not unto repentance, because of the goodness of God; but it was rather the sorrowing of the damned, because the Lord would not always suffer them to take happiness in sin."

The difference is distinct. Why do we sorrow? I invite you all to take a sorrow "inventory". What is making you sad? What can you do to be worthy of the grace of God in your life?

LOVE YOU LOTS AND PRAY FOR YOU ALWAYS.
