THE NEWEST MEMBER OF LA IGLESIA DE JESUCRISTO DE LOS SANTOS DE LOS ULTIMOS DIAS!
FAMILY!! AND MY FRIENDS!!! I LOVE YOU!!!
This week was so great!
And I am officially exhausted, probably going to sleep all day today. But
that's just part of the mission life I guess. ITS AWESOME! WOO!!
First off, PAULA GOT
BAPTIZED!!! I love her!! She has been the most challenging investigator for me
but I have learned so much from my experience teaching her. Her baptism on
Saturday was so beautiful, the spirit was so strong. It was one of the happiest
days of my mission so far. Ill attach some pictures!
Also, we are teaching a
super cool man named Juan. Juan is a Dominican and has only been here for a few
months. When he was in the Dominican Republic he was a hard-core gangster but
he always respected the "Men in the white shirts". He has so many
sincere questions about the church and loved the service on Sunday. He has
absolutely been prepared to receive this gospel. He is set to be baptized on
the 25th of this month and we are excited to prepare him for this date.
I don't really have a
lot of time this week but I just want to share a quick little V-day scripture
with you all. Our Savior and Redeemer is the ultimate example of how we should
truly love. He does everything because of his deep love for each one of us
individually. This scripture emulates that. Its found in 2 Nephi 26:24, it
reads " He doeth
not anything save it be for the benefit of the world; for
he loveth the world, even that he layeth down his own life that he
may draw all men unto him. Wherefore, he commandeth none that they
shall not partake of his salvation".
I
am so thankful for the love of our savior. My mission has changed the way I
understand true charity and I am so grateful for that. I sincerely do
love each and everyone of you. I pray for you every day. Thank you for
everything. Talk to you next week!
Con
Amor,
Hermana
